The Gastroenterology Society of Kenya (GSK) has developed these standardized research protocols to facilitate high-quality gastroenterology research in Kenya. These protocols aim to harmonize research methodologies, improve the quality of gastroenterology research, and facilitate multi-center collaboration.
Researchers are encouraged to adapt these protocols to their specific research questions while maintaining the core standardized elements to ensure comparability of results across different studies. All protocols have been reviewed by the GSK Research Committee and align with international best practices while considering local resource constraints.
